Our loving and passionate staff is committed to creating a safe space for our dancers in each and every class. Our goal is to instill a love of dance into the hearts of all our students and create a beautiful and basic humanistic foundation beyond the realm of dance. We love each of our students as if they are our own and are honored to be a part of their lives.

I first tip-toed in a studio at age 3 where my big sister, LeeAnn, was my dance teacher. Dance quickly grew to be my touchstone for most of my life. It taught me discipline, grace, and poise, and has given my soul an expansive outlet of expression. I have been blessed with the privilege of sharing this magic through teaching, and after 13 years of "dreamweaving," I hope to inspire each of my students' individual passions so they can carry their dance knowledge and appreciation for the art with them for a lifetime! I have recently earned a Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Certification to teach children with special needs and I am so excited to see where this new knowledge will lead me and this company! I am so thankful to my wonderful, loving and supportive husband, family, and all my students and their parents for their support, encouragement, and patronage throughout the years! In an age where the arts are being stifled, it is up to us to uphold the vast freedom of movement and expression for our children so that they may become inspired to pass on the arts for generations to come!

I first began dancing at the age of 11 in the small town of Greenwood, MS when my mother made me decide between playing soccer or taking dance lessons. I chose dance. Within my first jazz class I knew I had found my passion. I immediately threw myself into hip-hop, lyrical, tap, and (later) Pointe classes before joining a competition team and traveling to competitions across the Southeast. I continued to pursue dance in college where I served as Captain of the Rangerette dance team at Northwest Mississippi Community College, as well as choreographer for musicals and show choir in the Theatre and Music department and the surrounding area. I went on to receive my Bachelors Degree in Theatre and Dance from the University of Southern Mississippi. While there I was blessed to be able to perform in multiple stage productions and professionally with Carey Dinner Theatre and Southern Arena Theatre. Post-graduation I have been working as a freelance actor/choreographer. I have had the privilege to work alongside talented actors, such as Octavia Spencer and Corey Fogelmanis in an upcoming 2019 film, as well, as choreographer for the premiere of “Drive Thru: the Musical” by Shley Snider at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am so excited to share my passion with this new community of wonderful talents through Dreamweaver Dance Company.

I have loved to dance ever since I could remember. My passion for dance started at the age of 3. I specializes in multiple genres of dance such as Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, African, Modern, and more! My passion, of course, is dance, but I also love to teach. I have taught children from 18 months old, to teenagers, as well as adults. I started with liturgical dance at Turner Chapel AME in Marietta, Ga. In the summer of 2017 Obsidian Dance Repertory did study abroad and traveled to China where the dance repertory danced and collaborated with the Jiujiang University Dance Department. In 2020 I continue to dance and work with amazing, creative artists who love the art spectrum just as much as I do!
